Peter Funch: Babel Tales Gallery
Peter Funch, born in 1974 in Denmark, who lives and works in New York, is a fine observer of human behavior. In this particular photo set he gather at the same time identical moments of different people who found themselves in the same place. Imagine if all the people near you are smoking right now. What kind of scenery would that be? What if you see that everyone is screaming?
He imagined all this and further more he captures the moment on camera.

The rest was created in Photoshop.

• Over 500 alpha channels were used for various effects.
• Over 250,000 paths make up the multitude of shapes throughout the scene.
Playstation 4 Concept Design
While Playstation 3 still has a few more years of left in its lifespan of relevancy, designer Tai Chiem has come up with a stunning concept of Playstation 4. The PS4 console would feature transparent surfaces made for adaptive touch screens, with a glossy black round compartment to place the discs of your choice. PS4 will give the gamer a unique cable-free gaming experience with its Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Moreover, the transparent display of the main unit can show thumbnails of different part of a disc and allow the user to select a part by simply touching the respective thumbnail.
how a MacWorld cover is made
Many people don’t pay attention to covers. They mostly don’t even have to. But there are techniques involved in the making process of a cover. That’s why, when you pass by a newspaper kiosk your eyes end up on a shiny, colorful or even black & white cover. Because, eventually, nothing is left to be random there.
In this video, you’ll see – in a compressed time lapse – the entire work of making the cover for MacWorld Magazine.
Enjoy.
Anna Friel on Vanity Fair
She has dazzled audiences on both sides of the Atlantic and has been voted one of the world’s most beautiful women. Later this year she is set to transform the role of Holly Golightly in an adaptation of Breakfast at Tiffany’s at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket. All this and she still has her Lancashire-born feet planted firmly on the ground. Vanity Fair Plus Jewelry, a special supplement to the magazine’s British edition, celebrates the talented Anna Friel by draping her in pearls. Lots and lots of lovely pearls.

visual web trend map 2009
Web Trend Map is a yearly publication by Information Architects . It maps the 333 leading web domains and the 111 most influential internet people onto the Tokyo metro map.
Domains are carefully selected by the iA research team through dialog with map enthusiasts. Each domain is evaluated based on traffic , revenue, age and the company that owns it. The iA design team assigns these selected domains to individual stations on the Tokyo Metro map in ways that complement the characters of each.
For example, Twitter is located in Shibuya this year, as Shibuya is the station with the biggest buzz. Google is placed in the busiest, most highly trafficked train station in the world: Shinjuku. The New York Times, the “Old Grey Lady”, is located in Sugamo – a shopping paradise for Tokyo’s grandmothers.
They grouped closely associated websites and try to make sure each individual domain is on a metro line that suits it, with close attention paid to the intersections. As a result, the map produces a web of associations: some provocative, some curious, others satirically accurate.
flash sound matrix
Developed by Andre Michelle the Flash Sound Matrix was inspired from a Honda device. I tend to think it as the visual music. It really makes you loose quite a time playing with it! Enjoy.
