For everyone’s sake, drive safely this Christmas

For everyone’s sake, drive safely this Christmas

Australian Premier John Brumby today reminded all Victorians of their responsibility to drive safely, as TAC marked 20 years of road safety campaigns and drivers across the state switched their headlights on for road safety. Speaking at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where the first TAC advertisement was filmed, Mr Brumby reminded all Victorians that reducing road trauma was a community effort. Today, Victorians have shown their commitment to road safety by Shining a Light on Road Trauma, Mr Brumby said. This is a sign of the commitment of the whole community to help reduce deaths and injuries on our roads. Mr Brumby also launched a montage of the most memorable TAC images from the past 20 years, to be aired across the commercial networks just once, after 8.30pm tonight.

Moscow Cat Theater or The(c)ater :)

Moscow Cat Theater or The(c)ater :)

You’€™ll be hard-pressed to find a more unusual circus, or father-daughter performing duo. The Moscow Cat Theater is just that: a traveling show of cats that perform amazing tricks for the owners who love and train them. Everybody in Russia may be used to seeing cats perform tricks, as the theater’s manager explains in this funny, charming film, but felines walking tightropes, crossing the stage on giant balls and walking upside down is not a common sight in most countries. As balalaika and accordion circus score plays in the background, Creative Director Vladimir and daughter Maria combine their love of cats and stage to create a captivating act and illustrate the tricks of the trade by giving new meaning to the expression ‘€˜herding cats’€™.

Grand Funk Railroad – Sin’s a good man’s brother

Grand Funk Railroad – Sin’s a good man’s brother

I have discovered this song – probably like many other young fellows out there – at the end of the movie Law Abiding Citizen (which is a great movie, by the way) and I totally love it! I never heard of Grand Funk Railroad before but this song they made in the 70’s is very similar in style with the Led Zeppelin way of singing.

We should ALL thank him!

We should ALL thank him!

This is not about God! I don’t even believe in God. It’s about a human being, just like the rest of us. We owe him everything: the sounds we hear, the light we see, the freedom to talk and think as we like. Finally, we can reveal his name.
Let’s all be happy that we are contemporary with him.

Intel values its people

Intel values its people

It is trendy nowadays to communicate yourself as a company which values its people. Giving the fact that Intel is a large corporation – governed by corporate rules – , I don’t think that they gonna fool anyone. But still,, these three ads are very well made and extremely funny.

How many beautiful things are we missing?

How many beautiful things are we missing?

Washington, DC Metro Station on a cold January morning in 2007. The man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time approximately. 2 thousand people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After 3 minutes a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried to meet his schedule.
